Finalist – Retrofit

The Harvard Science Center Public Spaces & Teaching Labs Transformation is the latest of LWA’s interventions at the Harvard Science Center, which have spanned over two decades working with this midcentury landmark. This effort focuses on the transformation of public spaces, common areas, and corridors on levels 1 and 2 with the construction of new teaching labs, classrooms, and offices.

The Conservation Legacy Center for the non-profit, National Museum of Forest Service History in Missoula, Montana educates the public about the history and ongoing conservation work of the United States Forest Service (USFS). The design is inspired by the qualities of our national forests as valuable recreational and economic resources throughout our history, and the dramatic mountain views surrounding the site.
